OUR APPROACH
Design before solution.
We work with the people who understand the business to establish the operating design before detailed technology decisions are made.
01 - Establish the outcome
We start with the strategic intent and the business outcome being pursued.
We use the information the organisation already has — strategy, OKRs, business cases, requirements, RFP material, process information and operational knowledge — to establish the design context.
The objective is to understand:
What outcome matters?
Where in the business must something change?
What operating boundary needs to be designed?
02 - Design how the business needs to behave
We work with the organisation to understand how the relevant operation behaves and what needs to work differently.
The resulting design progressively establishes:
the required operating behaviour,
the important decisions,
the required controls,
the response authority,
the feedback, and
the measures needed to observe performance.
The design remains independent of the eventual application choice.
03 - Agree the High-Level Design and hand it to delivery
The proposed future operating design is reviewed and challenged by the client and relevant partners.
The resulting HLD becomes the reference for the next decision:
What technology can best fulfil this design?
The client, vendor and implementation partners can then evaluate application capability, integration, development and detailed design against an agreed operating requirement.
AI accelerates the synthesis. People govern the design.
S2O uses proprietary AI-assisted design techniques to accelerate research, synthesis and design development. The technology does not determine the answer.
Business judgement, evidence, challenge and agreement remain with the people accountable for the outcome. That is sufficient. I would reveal nothing further about how the reasoning engine works.
